06.03.07: March the 2nd saw the launch of the 2007 team. The venue was the iconic Imperial Hotel in Blackpool. The event attracted over 200 people and not only showed off the team but was a joint event intended to promote Blackpool as a cycling friendly council.

Exhibitors included Scienceinsport.com, Blackpool Primary Care Trust , a spinning demonstration by startrac.com, UCLan.ac.uk/sports, and HWCA.com Chartered Accountants. Blackpool Circus school along with Bispham High School entertained the visitors.

Palatine Sports College took part in a Go Ride demonstartion organised by British Cycling and Cycling Development North West (CDNW).

The team launch was hosted by Fred Talbot a well known North West TV celebrity. Fred was highly delighted with the way the day went as were the Blackpool councillors, all in all it was a successful event for the team but also for cycling in general. Charles Jackson team General Manager commented "This was a fantastic venue for the team launch. I hope that the riders enjoyed the day and we are all looking forward to the start of our racing season".
