Chris Newton is a double world champion on the track but is equally at home on the road where he has won top events both at home and abroad. The double world champion took the first of his two rainbow jerseys in 2002 in the Points Race, with his second coming last year in the Team Pursuit in Los Angeles. It is in the same discipline that he also gained his two Olympic Medals, Bronze in Sydney in 2000 and Silver in the 2004 Athen's Games. On the road Chris has taken the prestigious Circuit de Mines and Tour de la Manche stage races in France, and the FBD Insurance RAS in Ireland.
